Three Phase
Three phase motors for general use with standard output and standard dimensions, 2, 4 and 6 poles. Efficiency class from IE1 to IE3.
Single Phase
Single phase motors series EM with resin-filled run capacitor fitted to the frame. Series EMD is equipped with a starting and a run capacitor fitted inside the terminal box. The auxiliary capacitor, managed with either a centrifugal or an electronic circuit breaker, is able to reach starting torques of up to 1.5 times the rated torque, ensuring interchangeability with the three-phase models.

Gradual Brake
Motek's three phase brake motors Series ETP with gradual brake are particularly suitable for applications that require gradual and silent load stopping without any particular need for precision. They are designed to both ensure user's safety and prevent damage to machine parts. The braking torque – non adjustable – corresponds to the pressure of springs which, when no voltage is applied, keep the brake disc in contact with the internal surface of the cast iron fan. To release the disc, feed the electromagnet via a rectifier. If necessary, the air gap adjustment screw can be reached without removing the fan cover.
High-Torque Brake DC
Serie Motek's three phase brake motors Series ETC with high-torque positioning brake allow a precise stopping and holding of the position when no voltage is applied. They are designed for positioning applications and do not require any special maintenance, except for reinstating the air gap when needed. The braking torque – non adjustable – corresponds to the pressure of springs which, when no voltage is applied, keep the brake disc in contact with the internal surface of the cast iron fan. To release the brake, feed the electromagnet coil via a rectifier.
A hand release lever is available on request.

Low Centre Motors
Motek ETE three phase square type series for high power output and reduced shaft height.
SEIMEC's three phase square type motors series HPE are particularly suitable for use on cutting, drilling and milling machines.
Compared to the IEC construction, the frame shape built in a light alloy expands the motor's work envelope and machining precision with work tool size being equal. Lower inertia - also vis-à-vis brushless motors - allows better starting performances.
The extended bearings and output shaft provide for rigidity and reliability.
